Though Memories may fade, the true value of photography lies in its Power to keep those Precious moments alive forever.

Motherhood

A unique blend of joy, love, responsibility, and sacrifice.

The profound and transformative journey that encompasses the creation, nurturing, and raising of a child. A unique blend of joy, love, responsibility, and sacrifice. From the moment a mother first learns she is expecting, an unbreakable bond begins to form, growing stronger each and every day.

My maternity and motherhood photography aims to capture your special bond, every sleepless night, and each tender moment. It's about honoring you, making you feel empowered, uplifted and celebrated. It’s about empowering you, lifting you up, and celebrating your motherhood in all its natural beauty.

To preserve these precious moments and little details—the tiny feet, the way their little hands curl around your fingers, the peaceful expressions while they sleep, the close-up details of their faces, and the connection — I offer in-home and on-location newborn sessions. This way, you can feel completely at ease and be yourself during our time together.

A Photoshoot goes Beyond simply taking pictures.

  • Once we’ve settled on a date, I’ll send you a contract and invoice. Your spot is secured once the deposit fee is paid and the contract is signed.

  • No need to worry — I’ve got you taken care of!  After booking, you'll receive a style guide with suggestions on what to wear, what to bring, and what to expect on the day. Additionally, I offer an extensive client closet with outfits designed specifically for moms, including gowns, robes, and dresses. If you’d like to borrow something, the process is simple: choose your favorite pieces from the gallery, and I’ll handle the rest — preparing, steaming, and bringing them to the shoot. Of course, you're also welcome to wear your own clothing if you prefer. The client wardrobe is completely optional. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in whatever you choose to wear.

  • For every session, I provide a digital copy of my comprehensive preparation guides. These guides are filled with the insights and expertise I’ve gained over the years. From location suggestions and prop ideas to styling advice, everything you need to know is covered.

  • I'll meet you at our chosen location, and we’ll take it from there! There's no pressure with the posing - I’ll provide guidance and suggestions throughout. I don't expect you to figure out the best light or angles on your own. While we aim for the photos to feel natural, the process involves plenty of gentle direction to ensure you feel confident and comfortable. I've got everything covered. All you need to do is relax and enjoy the moment with the people you cherish most.

  • About a week before your session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to gather details on your vision for the shoot. This allows me to tailor your experience and ensure your photos turn out just as you’ve imagined.

  • You can expect your gallery within 2 weeks after the shoot! I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, and you’re always welcome to reach out if you’d like to check on the progress.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The timing of your maternity shoot is a personal choice, but I always suggest reaching out early to secure your preferred date — as soon as you’re comfortable. Typically, I recommend scheduling your session between 30-36 weeks of pregnancy. This period usually offers a great balance — your bump is beautifully visible, but you’re not too far along that it becomes uncomfortable, and it also gives us some flexibility to reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

  • As a mom of three, I totally understand. Kids can respond to their surroundings in unpredictable ways. With several years of working with young children, as well as older kids, I assure you that your child’s energy, emotions, and even stubborn moments won’t faze me. We’ll take our time, allowing space for calming tears, finding compromises, and capturing those joyful moments when they come.

  • Hawaii’s weather can be unpredictable, with quick rain showers being fairly common, especially in certain areas. However, these showers often pass quickly and can add a unique, beautiful element to your photos. If you're comfortable with a little rain, we can still go ahead with the shoot — it often results in some stunning images! But if it’s a heavy downpour, we can certainly reschedule for a better day.

  • Absolutely! Once your gallery has been delivered and you’ve selected your images, they’re yours to use how you wish. You’re welcome to tag me if you’d like, but it’s entirely up to you.

  • If you have any specific props in mind, like a cozy blanket, a picnic setup, or an extra outfit, feel free to bring them along. For little ones, consider packing neutral-colored toys that will blend nicely into the photos. Snacks are also great for keeping them content and smiling — just opt for sweet treats or crisps, nothing too messy, especially for toddlers. For couples, a bottle of prosecco can add a lovely touch! If you have a particular idea for the session, I’d love to hear about it beforehan

  • Yes, you can download your images as many times as you like and share the gallery with friends and family for them to download as well. The gallery will be accessible online for a period of 3 months, so make sure to save all your images securely. You have the option to print your photos either through the shop linked to the gallery or on your own. If you choose to print them yourself, I recommend using a professional printing lab for the best quality.

  • I'm currently based in Oahu, Hawaii, but I love to travel! Inter-island trips to Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island are available for an additional fee.

  • From couples in love to bumps to families, newborns & motherhood, I document it all.

  • I typically schedule sessions at sunrise or sunset, when the light is at its best! The exact timing depends on the season. We're aiming for soft, magical lighting, capturing the first hour just before sunrise or the last hour before sunset. If you have any specific requests, please feel free to email me to discuss them.

  • Absolutely! I’ve put together a fantastic list of well-loved locations that I’ll share with you once you’re booked. Finding the perfect spot for a photoshoot can be tricky, but don’t worry — I’ve done the exploring for you! You won’t have to stress about the location. We’ll provide a guide with our top picks and all the details you need, including access information, so you can select the spot that’s just right for you.

  • I work with two camera bodies: the Canon R5 and Canon R6 II. For lenses, I use a 28-70mm Canon, a 50mm Canon, a 35mm Sigma, and an 85mm Sigma, switching between them as needed. For newborn photography, I also carry a 100mm lens for macro shots.
